Do you have Java and the JMF plugin and the mp3 plugin installed? (ttp://java.sun.com/javase/technologies/desktop/media/jmf/index.jsp) I think that is used for sound playback in OOo Impress. I have that, but I am still struggling to make it work. I am not 100% sure the plugin is installed correctly, but the Media Player in Impress can play my mp3 files. But not your file. IT throws an error: Unable to handle format: mpeglayer3, 8000.0 Hz, 16-bit, Mono, LittleEndian, Signed, 1000.0 frame rate, FrameSize=8 bits Failed to realize: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Error: Unable to realize [EMAIL PROTECTED] Failed to realize: input media not supported: mpeglayer3 audio Even though mp3 format is supported by my installation. The only thing I can see is that it is 8Khz format, which the mp3 plugin doesn't list as supported (in jmfregistry). The second presentation plays fine.
