------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Nov 30 16:42:32 +0000 2008 ------- Avoiding installation of on-line update component during setup or removing it from a working installation causes OOo to crash when selecting menu Tools->Options. To reproduce the issue install OOo DEV300m36 and skip installation of on-line update component. As just as you select menu Tools-> Options soffice.bin will always look for file \Program Files\OOo-Dev 3\program\basis\updchk.uno.dll regardless if it has been installed or not and it will crash if the file is not present.
