If you are just trying out Open Office.org, you probably don't want this to happen, so leave the boxes unchecked. You can always open these files in OpenOffice.org, by using 'File >> Open' and browsing to the file you want. --------------- However, it was suggested that a single string to replace the existing string might be quicker and easier to implement.
