------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Dec 8 00:24:17 +0000 2008 ------- I have a problem with printing labels. Using the method successfully used last year, I created a spreadsheet [p.ods] with the addresses., 21 addresses per sheet. I clicked New, Database and created a new database file [db.odb]. I clicked New Labels on the database file, It showed the correct database name, but no table names [sheets] and no database field names [column names] for selection as label text. However, in the label text field it showed field names and table names associated with an old database [from a year ago, in a different directory, and with different content]. I anyway created a label file by pressing new document. This file shows the field names from the obsolete database. I clicked synchronise, which worked. On showing the source by pressing F4, I see that my new db has no associated fields but the old one has the expected fields. However the content appears to be that of the old spreadsheet and the labels generated are the labels from the old spreadsheet , which I cannot find so I cannot simply rename the new spreadsheet file over the old one.[would this work?] A similar problem was reported about fields some time ago but was closed because the field content was somehow invalid. My new spreadsheet is similar in content to the old one, text only with column names in row 1. I tried disconnecting the old db from open office using options, but this did not help, as still no field names appear in the new db. 1.I cannot find the spreadsheet being used by the old database. how do I find the path name of the file associated with the db? 2.How can I get the file , sheets and column names onto the new db file? I can send the files if this would help.[except the old spreadsheet , unless you can tell me how to find it] mandywr --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
