------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Apr 3 19:47:07 -0800 2005 ------- I am running Fedora Core 3 on a Thinkpad T42. I have Java SDK 1.5 installed. When opening a document in OpenOffice (both 1.1 and 2.0b) the application hangs. From time to time the document will be loaded through the first couple lines of text, and occasionally the tool bars will load. Normally, however, the tool bar does not appear (gray space) and the document does not load. I have experienced this behavior in both the writer and calc. I have reinstalled both versions (only one is installed at a time) with no change in the result. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can further debug this issue?
