------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Dec 9 17:36:56 +0000 2008 ------- After hitting a keyboard shortcut which I have been unable to identify (I've spent hours trying to) Writer automatically begins to translate Latin characters into Chinese ones without prompt. I've searched though all the menus, all the help files, all the online queries, and am unable to turn this feature off. Restarting the program does nothing, so I am forced to uninstall and reinstall the program several times *every day*. Usually the issue occurs when I'm citing foreign language text in italics, however -- I am still unable to identify the keyboard shortcut. I believe this is a very simple issue, and is as easy to turn off as it is for me to accidentally turn on. However, it is beginning to drive me mad. So, please help! I would hate to have to buy Microsoft Office because of something as silly as this. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
