2008 -------
I am generating an XLS file with PEAR package Spreadsheet_Excel_Write
(http://pear.php.net/package/Spreadsheet_Excel_Writer). I am using the
insertBitmap function to insert a 24 bit bitmap into the resulting .xls. When I
try to open with OpenOffice, it does not display the bitmap, however, opening it
in Excel 2003 + 2007 does.
---
This has occurred with previous versions of the package as well as reported in
this post from February 2006 - http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=6909
---
I have created an example, you may download here:
http://www.2shared.com/file/4425122/d4d293e9/packing_slip_10416.html - you will
not see the bmp with open office, you will see it with Excel
---
Let me know if you need help testing/reproducing/ etc.
