The issue might be reproduces as following:
 1. Open new empty odt document
 2. create first table (size does not matter, 3x3 works just fine)
 3. Cretae seond table
 4. open table properties window on second table
 5. Observer that it's name is "Table2", (while first tables name should be
"Table1")
 6. Change second tables name to "Table1", so that it matches first table name.
Close the dialog.
 7. Open again table property dialog. Guess what is the name of the second
table?
   a. Is it "Table1". No, it is not, since probably tables can not have same
names
   b. Is it "Table2"? No, i do not know why, but it is not :) but should be
Table2 :)
   c. So the answer is: second table name is "Table3" :)))
