This issue is flagged "Feature", but has no real UI change (only another
language entry in the AutoCorrect dialog language list that even show contens in
the dialog).
Therefore this is NOT a feature in terms of specification and translation. "Make
this work (for CTL language) as it works for all Western languages already" can
be even regarded as a defect: A rightful user expectation ("support my
language") got fixed.
So no special new test plan is needed for this. I can not tell about the
correction list contents as I do not speak the language. But technically, it
works. My short manual test was this:
Enable CTL support, start Writer, select a "wrong" string from Farsi AutoCorr
list, close dialog, insert string into Writer, press Enter, see that it changes
to the "replacement string")
Note (2) : When I have "Farsi" selected and close the AutoCorr dialog and
re-open again, it shows the same tab page and list. When the "Farsi " list is
displayed, the dialog has a delay of 3-5 seconds until it is displayed correctly
and usable. Since this is a dialog used to set options and replacement terms, I
regard this NOT a stopper right now. Daily use of Writer (with AutoCorr working
"In background" is not affected.
When other (Western) languages (or CTL languages with an empty list) are
displayed, there is no delay at all. I will write a subsequent issue for this
after integration into master and name it here. But will not stop this feature
for OOo 3.1 because of this.
