Import a DBF file with lots of addresses with Edit -> Exchange Databases

Enable the Data Sources view (F4)

Select the table containing the imported addresses

The status bar below the table will say "Record 1 of X", where X is
significantly lower than the number of addresses stored in the PDF file, and
clicking the upper left corner of the table widget to select all addresses
selects only the first X addresses.

When scrolling down in the table, OOo realizes there are more than X lines and
updates the number of records (after that, clicking the upper left corner does
select all entries).
