Steps to erproduce:

0. Download and unzip attached "TestKit.zip"
1. open "sampletext.odt"
2. open "sample2.odg" and click somwhere into drawing
3. <cntrl>+<a> to select all contents
4. <cntrl>+<c>
5. change to "sampletext.odt"
6. Menu 'Edit -> Paste Special -> GDI Metafile' <ok>
Expected: Downsizing without any loss and crippling
Actual: Text fields destroyed, last letter shifted to invisible new line
You can see my results in "seeresults.odt"

Same when I paste to Calc or another DRAW document.
Not reproducible using "sample.odg"
A similar problem (same roots) also appears when you copy/paste text fields from
"sample2.odg" to "sample.odg":

11. Click text field with "21B8T" in "sample2.odg"
12. <cntrl>+<c>
13. Change to "sample.odg"
14. <cntrl>+<v>
Expected: Text visible as in "sample2.odg"
    Actual: cripppled, "T" invisible

That problem only occurs with "Ooo 3.0.0 (DE) Multilingual version German UI WIN
XP: [OOO300m9 (Build9358)]", works fine with "2.4.1 Multilingual version German
UI WIN XP: [680m17(Build9310)]"
