This is my first look at OOo and I specifically wanted to use OOo 3.0 to open MSOffice 2007 files on a laptop which did not have Office, but did have MS Works installed. Contrary to the info on the website, I did not get the option during installation to select which file types to associate and now everything is hooked into OOo. Not impressed.
