------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Dec 30 22:44:17 +0000 2008 ------- If I open up a file in Ooo 3.0, and then try to open it with a MS Office program of the same type on my workstation, or a Ooo 2.4 of the same type on a terminal session over the network, the second program does not open the file as read only, instead as a writable file, and it appears to take ownership of the file. If I save the file in Ooo 3.0 after it has been opened by another program, I get the following errors: ******************************************************************** Error saving the document advisor_list: Access to \\xxxxx.xxx\xxx\ (where xxx... is the network file path) Advisor \advisor_list.doc was denied ******************************************************************** Then I get ******************************************************************** Error saving the document advisor_list: General Error General input/output error. ******************************************************************** The program that I opened up (MS Office or Ooo 2.4) can save the file with no issues while the file is open in Ooo 3.0. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
