------- Additional comments from [email protected] Thu Jan 1 07:26:06 +0000 2009 ------- If a file is left open past midnight (i.e. a date change on the computer), then the textual dates shown on notes do not change. This gets very confusing if you leave a document open for some time as you work on it. Seen on build OOO300m9 under Windows XP (latest patches) on both a laptop and a PC. As the computer clock changes date, the textual dates (e.g. today, yesterday) on notes should be updated as appropriate. Currently it does not, and this is very confusing to the user. Even going to View->Notes twice to hide and then reveal the notes, does not change the displayed date. An easy way to reproduce this is: 1) Create a note just before midnight, and the date is displayed as 'Today'. 2) After midnight, select View->Notes 3) select View->Notes The notes still says 'Today'. Indeed, as the time is correct and the time is still set to just before midnight, the date and time combination is actually in the future. Remedial: Closing and opening the file will get it to show the correct date (i.e. yesterday) I am also seeing other behaviour, possibly related to issue #95666. This is not yet reproducible, however. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
