------- Additional comments from [email protected] Sun Jan 4 22:59:21 +0000 2009 ------- I am currently running the latest version of Kaspersky Internet security 2009 ver:8.0.0.506 but have experience the same issue in other versions. Under "Detected Threats ...Type Vulnerability...Critically -Very dangerous" Kaspersky is showing two detected objects: (c:\program files(x86)Openoffice.org 3\program\soffice.exe) and (c:\program files(x86)Openoffice.org 3 \program\soffice.bin. On going to description the advice is to update Openoffice as this vulnerability exists in versions 2-2.4. I am currently running version 3. (http://www.viruslist.com/en/advisories/30599) I have contacted Kaspersky as well. I should also point out that on previous versions of Kaspersky it has shown the same issue but after several weeks of regular scans it no longer detects the threats. Regards.
