But obviously there is a requirement for some people to use the switch "--without-fonts", so we cannot guarantee, that the fonts are really available. And therefore a dependency can be dangerous. Unfortunately the used mechanism with an artificial dependency, that does not exist from a technical view, led to more problems than it helped. We have to think about a better way to force the installation of fonts, but only if they are available.
