Personally I'd like dynamic row and column sizes, perhaps defaulting to 256
columns and 32k rows, if that would save any space.
In the transition from the old Openoffice 1 format to Openoffice 2 format, I
noticed that smaller spreadsheets generally doubled in size.
If this was due to doubling the number of rows, it would be advantageous to keep
the default at 32k rows for the generally more common smaller files.
(Often I use very small spreadsheets instead of text files for organizing
information.)
At the same time, unlimited dynamic sizes would accomodate the very large
spreadsheets that I and many others sometimes need.
