A similar problem still exists however for documents that contain both JPEGs and PNGs: "Lossless compression" leaves both unchanged, and "JPEG compression" recompresses the JPEGs. I cannot find a way to make them both JPEG-compressed, but leave already JPEG-compressed images unchanged. But this is a minor issue, because now I can just compress everything to JPEG before inserting pictures into OOO.
