The bug was reported for a special proprietary webdav client and it was tested
as such. But we did tests with direct webdav access also as well as with mounted
folders. 

If a problem arises or not very much depends on the configuration of the webdav
server and it doesn't matter how the storage is accessed. The main problem is
that some servers don't accept "." at the beginning or "~" inside file names.
Both are parts of the lock files we try to create. In this case a lock file
can't be created and OOo 3.0 does not grant write access (no matter how you
access the storage: with a proprietary client, a windows mount or with http).

This issue should be resolved with the fix for issue 95809 that does not require
the creation of a lock file to allow for write access.
