------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Jan 13 18:50:01 +0000 2009 ------- If a user opens an image file (I've tried with JPG and PNG) with Draw and then click on Save, OO.o will issue a warning that it's best to save in an OO.o format, but also allows the user to save the image in the original format. If the user chooses to save the image in the original format, then the original file will become corrupt and there will be no way to recover it. This is _very_ dangerous because it represents loss of information for the user! I can reproduce this on OO.o 3.0 on Windows, OO.o 2.4 on Ubuntu Linux and OO.o 2.2 in Windows. I cannot reproduce this on OO.o 3.0 on Gentoo Linux. On Gentoo, when the users clicks on save, the file dialog appears and the user must choose a supported format. This works very well. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
