The behaviour is correct.
I assume that you start your slideshow with slide 1. If you start your slideshow
from a hidden slide then it will be shown. If the slideshow rcomes across a
hidden slide during the presentation (in this case slide 5 of your test
document) it will not be shown. This is easy to test: just start your slideshow
on slide 5: it will be shown. Go back to 4 and 3 and then forward again to 4 and
... 5 is skipped.
If you start on a hidden slide it is supposed that you like to show this slide
as well.
