------- Additional comments from [email protected] Thu Jan 15 15:48:47 +0000 2009 ------- What is the reasoning behind not fixing OOo 2.4.3's export? I see no reason why document exchange from OOo 3.0 -> OOo 2.4 is more important than OOo 2.4 -> OOo 3.0. In a mixed environment both exchanges will occur. Fixing one direction won't help at all in these environments. IOW, it seems to me that fixing only the one direction is not an improvement for real world use cases and will only cause confusion. AFAICT the current situation is buggy but at least stable in the sense that a document will look the same even after opening and closing it under OOo 2.4 and OOo 3.0. The document will look wrong on one version and correct on the other version but at least it will stay like this. With the proposed fix, AFAICT the hidden bit will be flipped every time you go from OOo 3.0 to OOo 2.4.3, i.e. the document will keep changing its looks. If this will indeed be the case, then I think the patch is not an improvement. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
