To clarify where and how the Domain contact is used:
The "Domain contact" setting is the email address that you want to receive
system-generated notifications about events, problems, etc. such as "somebody
needs to approve this project" or jvm issues on the server. In addition to this,
from CEE 5.2 onwards, this email address will be notified if a user account is
locked.
The "Domain contact" is not used in the "From:" header for system messages.
There is a separate host setting named "Address for system mail" which is the
address from which system email is sent.
