All other instances of OOo should be closed because they all access the same
shared data. So theoretically it is possible that the shared data is corrupted
when different instances write to it at the same time.

For example, the Extension Manager uses this message:

"Make sure that no further users are working with the same "
    "%PRODUCTNAME, when changing shared extensions in a multi user 
environment.\n"
