I did a quick test with I checked with "Ooo 3.0.0 (DE) Multilingual version
German UI WIN XP: [OOO300m9 (Build9358)]" and can confirm the reported effect
and sample document from a.m. URL
When I opened both documents with OOo, I saw that view of .odf and exported .ppt
differ in several details 8for example, transparency gradient is reverse for
graphic frame (and reverses again with every new .ppt export) and heading
background looks completely different.
I also can confirm differences concerning text formatting.
Stpes to reproduce:
0. Download and save sample document
1. Open sample document and save as "einfuehrung_in_issuezilla_ca.ppt" without
any changes in contents
2. Close OOo, reopen OOo
3. Open "einfuehrung_in_issuezilla_ca.ppt" and save as
"einfuehrung_in_issuezilla_cb.ppt" without any changes in contents
4. Close OOo, reopen OOo
5. Open "einfuehrung_in_issuezilla_cb.ppt" and save as
"einfuehrung_in_issuezilla_cc.ppt" without any changes in contents
6. Close OOo, reopen OOo and open all 4 documents
7. Compare slide 5 of all documents:
expected: no difference
actual: starting with _cb text in right half of the page is invisible white
Background frame gradiend reverses with any new save (I will file a
new issue for that
The "White text problem is also visible with MS PPT viewer.
I can't decide whether it's a save-export or open-import problem.
