------- Additional comments from [email protected] Sat Jan 17 23:58:08 +0000 2009 ------- Verified on PC platform, Windows Vista Home Premium OS with version DEV300m37. Really, =PRODUCT(A1) yields 0 with text in A1, but =PRODUCT(1;A1) yields 1 but it is a consequence of the fact that mathematical functions accept text as an empty cell; =PRODUCT(empty cell)=0 the same way as SUM, ABS and others, =PRODUCT(1;0) = 0 (AVERAGE(empty cell) leads to #DIV/0! whereas AVERAGE(0)=0). I am not sure that functions specified as they must validate argument. If they must there is the issue, if - not - not. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
