------- Additional comments from [email protected] Mon Jan 19 20:52:13 +0000 2009 ------- The Italian version of OOo 3.0.1-RC2 (with JRE) is uninstallable under Windows Vista and possibly other Windows systems. 1. Clean the system: uninstall previous OOo and JRE versions, remove the temporary folder containing the OOo installation files from the Desktop. 2. Download OOo_3.0.1rc2_20090116_Win32Intel_install_wJRE_it.exe from an extended mirror and check its md5sum against http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=releases&msgNo=13125 3. Perform a default installation (accept settings and click Next every time). During the JRE installation, a fatal error is reported: "Impossibile accedere al percorso di rete 0" and you have to CANCEL the installation in order to proceed. Eventually OOo does get installed (!), but JRE is not present. This is a stopper for OOo 3.0.1 Italian. This build/bundle is rejected.
