------- Additional comments from [email protected] Sat Jan 24 21:49:44 +0000 2009 ------- I'm not sure whether or not this is a bug, but it is possible to paste buttons and presumably other controls onto protected sheets, obscuring the original content (although the cell data can not be changed). DEMO PROCEDURE: 1. Create a button on one sheet Here is how: View->Toolsbars->Form Controls (check on) Click DesignModeOnOff (the second one) to put Design Mode on. Click the PushButton icon. Cursor changes to cross-hairs. Use the mouse to draw a button outline on the sheet. 2. Create a new sheet. 3. Tools->ProtectDocument->Sheet; enable protection (no password necessary) 4. Go back to the first sheet. Turn on DesignMode if it is not still on. Select the button and Control-C to copy it onto the clipboard. 5. Go to the new, protected sheet. Control-V pastes the button onto it. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
