I checked with "Ooo-dev 3.0.0 Multilingual version English UI WIN XP:
[DEV300m39 (Build 9378)]" and can confirm the reported effect.
steps to reproduce:
1. Open attached sample document "mytest1.xls"
2. Select 'A1:B1'32.
3. Menu 'Format -> Cells -> Borders'
4. Uncheck "Synchronize"
6. 'spacing to borders -> bottom'
7. modify from 0,35mm to 5mm
Expected: cell contents should move up to 5 mm from bottom
actual: as expected.
8. Menu 'File-> Save as -> "mytest1.xls"'
9. close document
10. Reopen document.
11. expected: cell contents should be a way 5 mm from bottom
actual: cell contents has only 3.5 mm distance from bottom
I tried with Microsoft EXCEL viewer and found out that the problem is also
visible when I open the sample file with that program. So it's a save-export
problem.
