2009 -------
What version of .NET is required depends on development environment. We use
Visual Studio 2008 which itself uses .NET 3.5. The C# and C++ compilers work
with that version and therefore the produces code will reference libraries from
that framework. However, the CLI binding should still work with .NET 2 (without
guarantee), because it seems that even the latest framework still uses the
mscorlib and visualc assembly from version 2. However, that may change when we
switch to a different compiler.
Best is to try if you application still works with .NET 2. If it does not then
you could try out an OOo built with VS 2005 or older.
