------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed Jan 28 11:46:38 +0000 2009 ------- The file itself is not read-only - the eventlogger has the file opened for writing and thus the file can only be opened for reading on filesystems that are not inode-based (Pretty much every Windows filesystem). This is a limitation in windows and its filesystems.
