indeed, this issue is completely bogus from it's values (version58?) and in
general.
1. The OOo website does contain "debs" for download (I don't say packages on
purpose). Look for _deb installsets.
2. Debian does contain up-to-date OOo versions, too (see
http://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=openoffice.org)
