Hello,

After the last release of openoffice by fedora, yesterday,
openoffice.org-impress.x86_64 1:3.0.1-15.2.fc10 installed

I've got the feeling that the interface has changed, in my opinion in a bad
way. Sorry for not being more accurate in the following, but I don't have the
previous version installed anymore. I can only list what is really annoying for
me today ;)

- it is now very difficult for me to select text objects. I now need to click
exactly on the boundary of the text object, which is invisible. I think that if
one clicks over the text, the text object should be highlighted, and one should
be put directly in editing mode for that text. Otherwise, it is almost
impossible to edit or move some text that is superimposed to a picture.

- the undo was previously assigned to ctrl-Z (or did a macro of mine disappear
in the update? - can't remember). This is no longer the case, and I keep typing
ctrl-Z for nothing :). Would it be possible to assign undo to ctrl-Z by default,
as is done in many other applications?

- mouse wheeling in the left bar to browse slides is working strangely. One is
kind of dragged back to the current slide during the mouse wheel, which means
one has to mouse wheel several times to get a chance to arrive at a given
slide.

cheers,

Colin
