I cannot reproduce this on my MAC system.
Does this only happen with Writer or also with Spreadsheet or Drawing?
Do you use native or OOo-own File dialog
(OpenOffice.Preferences.OpenOffice.General)?
Does the File picker currently point to a special Network drive or anything
similar?
