Hi,

Below is a repetition of the text in the Document. I am attaching an Example
document (ProblemExample.doc) to the Forum URL above. Please see my final
posting.

Sorry, I did not see any way to attach it here.

Thanks

ewb

Synopsis: This page has formatting on the Header and Footer. The Footer will
not keep its formatting when the document is saved using Open Office 3.0.X.

Environment: Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit SP1
             Open Office 3.0.1

Detail: Header using Default Style with changes to Margins and Tabs.
Footer using Footer Style with changes to Margins and Tabs.

Problem: Tabs keep changing on the Footer when document is saved.
Tabs if Footer were set to 3.75” Left and 8” Right, but change when
saved out
to 4.4” Left and No Right.

Duplicate: Open this file with OO 3.0.1 and observe the formatting of the
Footer. Pay particular attention the the Tabs on the Ruler.

Make a minor change, like add line.
             Save the file.
             Close the file.

Re-open the file with OO 3.0.1 and re-examine the Footer
formatting.
Again, look closely at the Tabs in the Ruler, they will have moved.

I believe that multiple open and saves will result in further
movement.
