Feature already exists. Menu Insert > Fields > Other > Variables. Click type
"Number range", enter "Figure" in textfeld 'Name', click 'Insert', close.
In the text document you can delete the inserted field.
Now take a picture and call its caption dialog. In the drop down list 'Category'
choose the new item 'Figure'.
