I'm using OOo Writer 1.9.87 on WinXP.

I believe this issue is not a duplicate of 39169, because I've encountered this
same problem trying to map a BeanShell script to a key. I had no problems
running the script (Tools / Customize / Keyboard / Category: OpenOffice.org
Macros / Share / Capitalize) as a macro (using Tools / Macro / Run Macro), but
when I assign it to a keystroke (Shift-F3, so it's similar to MS Word), it does
not execute.

I tried assigning a regular "function" ("lowercase") to Shift-F3 (worked), and
the Capitalize BeanShell to another key (Ctrl-4) (didn't work). I tried other
BeanShells, but they didn't attach to keys, either - even though they ran as
macros, also.

I was going to report it as a BeanShell key assignment bug, until I saw this
report and tried what peshtra recommended: exit OOo and re-start. Then my prior
BeanShell assignment behaves as expected.

I tried to back-up and reproduce it but couldn't: Clear the assignment, close
OOo, restart Writer, open a new doc, and assign the Capitalize BeanShell to
Shift-F3, and it works as expected. I even tried a different BeanShell and key
(HelloWorld to Shift-F7 works, too).

Is it possible that there is an initialization script that attaches BeanShells
to Keyboard Shortcuts, and it's not run except at startup and only if there has
been a BeanShell used before? If no one can reproduce this, I might try
uninstalling OOo and reinstalling to see if I can recreate it.

Thanks for a great product! -- Doug
