------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed Feb 18 11:42:52 +0000 2009 ------- I am using Windows XP Pofessional SP3 and OO3. OO 2.4 works fine, but ALL Versions of OO3 freeze my entire system when finishing the registration wizard. I found out it is a problem with Comodo Internet Iecurity (and maybe other antivirus-solutions): - it is not enough disabling the scanner and giving the OO-setup full installation-rights. - it is not enough shutting down antivirus, firewall and access-control. - After completely uninstalling virus-scanner, firewall and access-control and reinstalling OO3 I was able to complete the registration process. Then I had to reinstall all security-software. The Problem: If I add a new user he can´t use OO3 because the problem still affects the registration.
