I wrote to complain of how the spellchecker insults Christians by failing to
capitalize the word, "Bible" while it shows deference to the Koran by insisting
it be capitalized.

I received a reply to the effect that the word, "Bible" has been degraded by our
society by people using it for other common purposes, such as to say, "The
Fisherman's Bible" and others. I am not sure how the logic follows that because
society has denigrated the Bible, that a spell checker cannot uphold it's
value.

Would you write a book and call it, "The Fisherman's Koran"? Not, if you didn't
want death threats. Well, Christianity doesn't go around making death threats,
however, that doesn't change the fact that we are nonetheless insulted by the
denigration of our holy book.
