I've checked this again and I'm afraid it is not resolved.
If you populate a sheet with 100 columns and 100 rows of data, then select some
cells in the center and then Format -> Print Range -> Define. When you go to
Print Preview it shows you all the cells and not just the selected/defined
cells.
This issue is related to Issue 22762.
