------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri Feb 20 13:42:54 +0000 2009 ------- @arielch: Is the first XML file in the original description (containing the "es-AR" and "de-DE" entries) contained as-is in an extension, or is it further processed during the building of OOo before (some derivative of) it is included in an extension? In the former case, I cannot reproduce this problem. I took tags/DEV300_m41/desktop/test/deployment/options/leaf1.oxt, modified the contained OptionsDialog.xcu by replacing the single line <value xml:lang="en-US">Writer leaf1 en-US</value> with the multiple lines <value xml:lang="en-US">Writer leaf1 en-US</value> <value xml:lang="de-CH">Writer Blatt1 CH</value> <value xml:lang="de-AU">Writer Blatt1 AU</value> <value xml:lang="fr">Writer Blatt1 fr</value> and then starting OOo Writer after specifiying "Tools - Options... - Language Settings - Languages - Language of - User Interface - German (Germany)", I get "Writer Blatt1 AU" under (German counterpart to) "Tools - Options... - OpenOffice.org Writer" (i.e., an arbitrary choice from the two best matches "de-CH" and "de-AU" for the given locale "de"). In the latter case, it is probably an artifact of the OOo build process, taking localized data for locales that appear in the WITH_LANG environment variable (that would contain "de" but not "de-DE") and dropping other localized data. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
