------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Feb 24 10:03:55 +0000 2009 ------- Hi, I have a problem in showing Oracle datetime fields (the actually Oracle type is "DATE", but it contains date and time information). I access to an Oracle 9i database (exact version 9.2.0.8.0) using the JDBC Oracle driver (same version), but when I display the content of a table (Table Data View) applying a datetime format, the time information of date(time) fields is always displayed as "00.00.00" (italian localization - I use italian version of OpenOffice). I have no problem in showing the date information. I tried reading the JDBC driver documentation, but I haven't found any help for this problem. Also I tried connecting to the database using the "Database Explorer" personality of Eclipse 3.4 (Ganymede) and the datetime fields are showed correctly. I think this is a possible Base issue. Thanks in advance for any reply.
