------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Feb 24 16:47:39 +0000 2009 ------- I just noticed that this 100k saving is on x86-64. On x86, the score is 14582050 (original, visibility, non-stripped) vs. 14573463 (patched, visibility, non-stripped) which looks good; but when stripped, it is 10814088 (original, visibility, stripped) vs. 10818068 (patched, visibility, stripped) - so we lose 4k there. I am currently experimenting with a split of svx into a svxcore, and the rest, and I'd need this patch for this anyway (otherwise we would have to expose lots of these symbols, so - is the 4k bearable? ;-) I'll measure more of the svx split tomorrow... --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
