Sorry, I've realised that I did not provide the correct info for you to
reproduce this, yes If I zoom in then the lines render as thicker, but I have to
be more zoommed in to see that with 3.0 than 2.3 (and 2.3 is closer to the
rendering I see from acrobat rendereing the exported pdf)
I have run both 2.3.1 and 3.0.1 with the odg from this issue, on a PC witha
1920x1200 screen (two actually but I'm not sure that has an effect).
I set the zoom level to 100% and as you can see the 2.3 render engine shows the
0.04cm as thicker than the others the 3.0 renderer does not.
the screen shots are just the oo window (so smaller than 1920x1200) with the
about box and a clear view of the status bar this time (not obscured by 
acrobat!)
