It can be influenced by the directory, from which the executable was started (local drive or network drive) and from a certificate in the executable, that can be bought for example from VeriSign. Do you have some more information? I downloaded Infrarecorder 0.46.2 and saw that it uses the very old NSIS 2.24 and when starting the installation I got the UAC warnings.
