On a new slide I inserted images by ctrl-c / ctrl-v from the Desktop and saved
the file as ppt. the images are visible but are inserted with a reference link
to the external image file.

Now I copied the (apparently working) presentation file (ppt) to another disk,
reopened it, and the images were not shown anymore. Of course, because they were
included only with a reference to the external image files.

There's one drawback: I didn't know it before, I was in a hurry so I couldn't
test it, and it happened in front of a stategic business customer presentation.
so this MUST NOT happen, no matter how you justify it.

I like to put it as a blocker.

thank you & cheers
Immanuel
