------- Additional comments from [email protected] Mon Mar 2 08:45:58 +0000 2009 ------- This problem occurs in documents created with OOo 3.1 m3 and when importing documents of older versions (e.g. 3.0.0). Documents like the attached one shows a false behavior of indents/tabs until you changes the indent values Before Text and First Line. Steps to reproduce: 1) Create a new document. 2) Write something like: "Test1" + press tab key + "Test2" 3) Mark this text and open Format > Paragraph. 4) Go to the "Indents & Spacing" tab, insert "4,00cm" in the field of "Before text" and "-4,00cm" in the field of "First line". 5) Go to the "Tabs" tab and insert a new left tab with "2,00cm". 6) You will see that string "Test2" begins at "6" (if you have activated the ruler). 7) Mark the whole text again and open Format > Paragraph. 8) Change in the "Indents & Spacing" tab: "Before text" to e.g. "4,10cm" and "First line" to "-4,10cm". (Or insert a new left tab in the "Tabs" tab - it doesn't matter.) 9) Apply your changes and you will see that string "Test2" now begins at "4,10". -> The shown tab indent of step 6 is false. -> The tab indent after OOo's "self correction" with step 8 is the right one, which is also the behavior of OOo 3.0.0 or 2.x. I will attach a test document. Start with Step 7 and you will see what I mean. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
