This is not only a Writer problem, all OOo applications are affected (also the
closer of Impress "Tasks" and "Slides" panel.
The document closer is not transparent and has a white background (is not the
case with the main application closer); I was able to see the problem e.g. on
ubuntu when using the "DarkRoom" theme.
