Nor me or anybody in the office was able to troubleshoot it. I initially thought we've hit a bug. Then, only with help of QA team, I found out it is actually a feature. Arithmetic operations of number and text should yeild either number (like Excel does) or an error, if you want to be puritan. Not 0, which could confuse people and lead to false assumptions, as it actually does now in real-life scenarios.
