Install an extension providing its own toolbar.
In the menu View > Toolbars this new toolbar is listed as :
xxxxxx bar

This term ( bar) is added by OpenOffice, in the english version.
In the french version it is not added, or is replaced by an empty string.
Not only the term bar is useless in this context, but it cannot be correctly
translated because, depending on the language, the whole text may have to change
(french : Barre de xxxxxx or Barre d'xxxxxx)

You can also see in the next attachment:
Hyperlink Bar  -> french : Barre d'hyperlien
Formula Bar -> french : Formules
Here again the term Bar uses space needlessly.

The problem already appears on version 2.4.2.
